Authentic Leadership 2 - 4 Day Course

AL 2 takes the principles and practices of AL 1 into the interpersonal realm. It focuses on communicating authentically and non-defensively, engaging in difficult conversations, giving challenging feedback adeptly, and using positive language to diffuse and transform defenses as well as to bring out the best in others. Because a major aspect of communicating effectively stems from reading other people accurately, you will learn state of the art tools to pick up visual, auditory, and energetic signals. You will be amazed that in 3 days you will begin to develop competence in these tools, allowing you to create more authentic, thriving relationships. This will benefit you, your co-workers, and your clients.

AL 2 uses the latest discoveries from researchers such as Simon Baron-Cohen and Paul Eckman to improve your ability to recognize facial expressions of emotions, the brief microexpressions of concealed emotions, and the first signs of emotions in another person. This not only hones your empathic skills, it gives you the skills required to negotiate the interpersonal arena adeptly.You learn skills to help you change your brain state, allowing you to stay calm and centered in challenging situations. Assessments are used to give you a benchmark and to measure change.

AL 2 also offers you the opportunity to go more deeply into your own authenticity, supporting you in creating an expanded self map, bringing out authentic aspects of yourself that you have undervalued. This, as you have experienced already from AL 1, supports you in creating a more joyful and peaceful relationship with yourself.
